Beginning Monday, August 10, anyone (students, staff, parents, guests) entering the building must be wearing a face covering! The TPS Health & Safety plan will require face coverings during the school year so we feel now is as good a time as any to start getting in a routine. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
School activities will get underway this week with high school football and cross-country beginning practice on Monday. Please be sure your child has the appropriate forms turned in and fees paid before the first practice.
This Wednesday, August 13, we will hold a virtual orientation for 7th grade parents beginning at 7:00pm. The link will be sent to parents primary email address approximately 15 minutes before the meeting begins.

As I mentioned in a previous email students will have the option to pursue distance learning this year if they do not feel safe in our building. This year's version of distance learning will not look like it did last Spring. The classes will be synchronous to our daily bell schedule with more rigor and accountability placed on the student. Distance learning will be provided on a quarterly basis meaning you can't flip back and forth between learning at home and in - person. Students who choose distance learning will not be allowed to enroll in CTE electives, Band, CHoir, PE, or Lifetime Fitness. These classes are extremely difficult for teachers to instruct virtually as they are hands on courses and require specific equipment and materials. The deadline to enroll for distance learning during the first nine week grading period is Friday, August 14.
Caulfield Studios will be taking the fall sports/activities pictures on Monday, August 24, and Tuesday August 25 outside starting at 3:30. Students will receive picture information and the specific day from their coach. Students must pay at the time pictures are taken. Checks should be made payable to Caulfield Studios.
Please let me know if you have any questions. We are getting close to kicking off the 20-21 school year !
