Congratulations to Coach Mike Bittner and our students who placed at the Regional Speech Meet held in Northwood on Saturday: Dominic Defoe - Radio (3rd) & Impromptu (7th), Kamryn Nissen-Inform (1st & State Qualifier), Kaden Bittner & Leah Snyder-Serious Duo (4th), Kamryn Nissen & Delaney Thompson-Humorous Duo (8th), Leah Snyder-Dramatic Interp. (2nd & State Qualifier), Alexis Vanyo-Dramatic Interp. (5th) & Humorous Interp. (6th), Kaden Bittner-EPR (5th). The State "B" Speech meet will be held in Mandan on Saturday, April 27.
Thank you to the many students, parents, and community members who came out and supported Prom 2024 at THS! Congratulations to King Brayden Wofgram, Queen Sydney Schwabe, along with the Prom Royalty of Dru Schwab, Brody Gibson, Kiley Huebner & Karter Peterson. We also owe big thanks to our chaperones, Brian & Angie Muhs, Chuck & Kara Welke, Jeanne McHugo, and Ashley Holt. Thank you to Dave Kurtz and Nate Gregoire for administering the breathalyzer to our students and to our junior parents who organized and chaperoned a safe After Prom event!
This week our students in grades 7,8, and 10 will be taking the ND State Assessment. The NDSA measures a student's performance in statewide content standards in English Language Arts, Literacy, Math, and Science. The NDSA provides important data which enables our school to improve instruction and overall student achievement. Please encourage your son/daughter to put forth the effort needed to earn the best scores possible!
Thank you to everyone who attended the "Celebration of the Arts" last week! Our students showcased their many talents in music, speech, Art, FACS, Tech Ed, and Robotics. Great Job!

Students in grades 8-11 will have until Wednesday, April 17 to make 24-25 schedule changes.
World Classrooms will hold a virtual pre-departure meeting on Tuesday, April 16 at 7:30pm for students and parents participating in the trip to Washington D.C. and New York this summer (July 7-14). Families will be emailed a pre-departure packet before the meeting that will have some information/forms to fill out and submit to World Classrooms. The meeting will review all trip details (flight details, hotel, itinerary, safety, etc.).

Our FCCLA chapter had an amazing performance at their State Conference in Bismarck last week: Kaden Bittner received a gold rating in the online state testing events Consumer Math and Culinary Math. In STAR Events, all of the students listed earned a Gold Rating and qualified for the National Competition in Seattle, Washington! Avry Kostelecky - Food Innovations level 3, Sarah Mager - Career Investigation level 3, Faith Krebs and Katelyn, Kuster - Focus on Children level 2, Kiera Willis - Career Investigation level 2 , Kaylee Kurz - Fashion Construction level 2, Alexa Gauderman and Josie Zuschlag - Chapter Service Project Display level 2, Hadley Gust and Evelynne Lunnie - Sports Nutrition Level 2, Colton Krebs - Repurpose and Redesign level 1, Kamryn Nissen - Professional Presentation level 1
Semester tests for students in grades 9-12 have been scheduled for the last week of school (May 21-23). We will be sending out a more detailed schedule in the next couple of weeks.
Congratulations to Kaden Bittner and Zane Schumacher on earning 2nd place at the St. Cloud Granite Regional Robotics Tournament. Kaden and Zane compete for Grand Force Robotics 8188 and have now qualified for the World Championships in Houston this week!
The next eligibility check for our students will take place on Wednesday, April 24.
There will be no school for all TPS students on Friday, April 26.
