May 24, 2021

  • The last day of school for 2021 is Tuesday, May 25. Students will be meeting with advisors, cleaning out lockers, and returning textbooks & Chromebooks. Buses will run at 1:00pm but students in grades 7-12 will be dismissed after lunch at approximately 12:30pm. The first day of school for the 21-22 school year is Thursday, August 19. The full 21-22 calendar can be found on our school website.

  • Both the baseball and softball teams were victorious in their opening round games of the Regional tournament. The softball team will now play Northern Cass, on Monday, at approximately 5:00pm. The baseball team will take on MPCG on Monday at approximately 5:30pm. These are both semi-final contests with the winners advancing to the State Tournament being held in Jamestown on June 3,4,5.

  • At the Region track meet on Friday in Hillsboro the boys finished in 2nd place and the girls in 3rd. Sam Roller won the 300H and also state qualified in the long jump, 200m and javelin. The 4x800 relay team of Kaela Schultz, Kiley Huebner, Emma Cullen, and Claire Snyder state qualified. The 4x400 relay team of Kaela Schultz, Claire Snyder, Jordan West, and Lexi Telehey also state qualified. Luke Mager state qualified in the 1600m and 3200m. Lexi Zafke state qualified in the discus. Ryan Juve state qualified in the 110H. Josh Yon state qualified in the 400M. Max Roller state qualified and set a new school record in the triple jump. Cole Potter state qualified in the shot put and discus. And the 4x800 relay team of Josh Yon, Reese Nygaard, Luke Mager, and Ben Rowan state qualified.

  • Thank you to Sheri Krogstad, as well as Jon and Alicia Wolfgram, for running the scoreboard at the baseball and softball games this spring. Also, thanks to Brooke Bakke for announcing at the softball games.

  • Weather pending the student council has planned some fun outdoor activities for our students on Monday afternoon. Students have been asked to bring any outdoor games (spike ball, corn hole, etc...) so they may need a reminder!

  • The Jr/Sr Awards Program will begin at 10:00am on Monday, May 24, in the high school gym. Parents are more than welcome to attend. Masks are required.

  • Fourth quarter report cards will be mailed out and the Honor Roll posted on our school website during the week of May 31.

  • Start dates for fall activities: Aug. 2 - Girls Golf Aug. 5 - V/JV Football Aug. 9 - Cross country

Aug. 12 - JH Football Aug. 16 - V/JV/C Volleyball Aug. 23 - 5&6 Girls Basketball Sept. 9 - JH Volleyball

  • Please join me in congratulating the THS Class of 2021! The Valedictorian for the class is Hailey Ernst and the Salutatorian is Sam Roller. Other Honor Students include: Logan Maus, Luke Mager, Jada Welke, Wes Byzewski, Grace Stumpf, Zach Peterson, Jackson Yon, Alivia Hancock, Murphy Landa, Lexi Telehey, Connor Fields, and Maddy Stefonowicz. Everyone at THS has enjoyed watching the entire class grow and wishes them the best of luck in their future endeavors!

  • Remember to please utilize the "symptoms checklist" on a daily basis before sending your child to school. This is a very important step in our efforts to keep school functioning in person.

  • Have a safe and enjoyable summer vacation!
