Greeting Music Parent Grown Ups!

I hope 2025 is off to a great start for you and your families!

The following is a list of performances for the Music Department for the spring semester. Feel free to reach out with any questions.

Pep Band - 6:15 arrival time
January 14th - Pep Band - BBB - Open to Cadet Band and Concert Band members (please encourage your littles to go!)
January 21st - Pep Band - BBB - This is a REQUIRED performance for CONCERT BAND members. 
January 30th - Pep Band - GBB - Open to Cadet and Concert Band members (please encourage your littles to go!)
February 4th - BBB - Open to Cadet Band and Concert Band members (please encourage your littles to go!)
February 11th -GBB - Open to Cadet Band and Concert Band members (please encourage your littles to go!)
February 18th - GBB - This is a REQUIRED performance for CONCERT BAND and CADET BAND members. 
February 28th - BBB - Open to Cadet Band and Concert Band members (please encourage your littles to go!)

Jazz Ensemble
January 29th - 2:00pm - Red River High School. The Myra Jazz Band will be putting on a concert at 1:00pm as well. These events are free and open to the public! Please attend if you are able!

Small Group Festival - Mayville
March 12th - The small group festival changed dates this year and is taking place on March 12th which is the first day of spring break at TPS. If you know that your family will be traveling out of the area please inform me as soon as possible as this is a required part of High School Band and Choir. The event will take place at MSU and our students will be gone for most of the day. Typically we leave around 8:00am and return by 3:00pm

The Lion King Kids
April 4th - 6th Grade ​Musical - The annual 6th grade ​musical is taking place on April 4th with shows at 2:15pm and ​7:00pm. Please come and support them!

Celebration Of The Arts
April 8th - The ​Celebration ​Of The ​Arts will take place ​at TPS starting at 6:30pm with ​performances beginning in the new commons and ​concluding ​on the stage in the new gym. ​Concert Band and Concert ​Choir members are required to be at this event.

Spring Concert Grades 5-8
​April 24th - The annual Spring Concert for grades 5-8 will take place at 7:00pm in the new gym. This concert will showcase our elementary and ​junior high music students. All 5th ​and 6th grade students are required to attend as well as JH students in Cadet Band or ​JH Chorus.

Awards Concert
May 1st - The spring awards concert featuring the Concert Band, Concert Choir and ​Jazz ​Ensemble ​along with various small groups will being at 7:00pm in the new gym. 

State Music
May 3rd - State ​Music - Schedule to be determined.
