I am currently in my 21st year of education and 15th year working in Thompson. I spent the first six years teaching at Northwood Public School. I spent my first seven years in Thompson as the elementary principal. I will begin my eighth year as superintendent for the 21/22 school year. My wife Andrea is the media specialist at Grand Forks Central High School. Our son Logan is attending Mayville State and daughter Brooke is in 9th grade.

I will update my page weekly to provide the latest information relating to Thompson Public School. I would also encourage you to follow us on Facebook and Twitter @TPSND61. Also, please contact the main office if you have new contact information so you get our emails and calls.

We also encourage you to check the teacher pages on our website to keep updated on the latest assignments, news, and announcements.

Updates for the week of September 12:

The updated Return to In Person Learning Plan has been updated and is on the main page of the website. One issue not covered in the letter I sent out that needs clarification is that students that are waiting on pending results for themselves or any other household member should remain home until those results are received. Also, if a student is sick, please keep them at home. Our main goal is to keep our building safe and educate in person. We will work hard to catch up students that are out for various reasons. Thank you for your cooperation.

We will continue to communicate our progress so check the website, Facebook, and Twitter accounts.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any concerns.
